International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad is an autonomous university established in 1998. IIIT, Hyderabad with recognition from the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) provides undergraduate, postgraduate, dual, and doctoral degree programmes across the different disciplines of science and technology.

Admissions for the B.Tech courses are confirmed according to the merits secured by a candidate in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board along with the merits secured in Joint Entrance Examination. Candidates applying for postgraduate courses are required to have a valid bachelor's degree in the relevant subject.
