Admission Procedure
Admissions are open to anyone with a degree or diploma (with a minimum of 15 years of formal education), who is over 20 years of age. The candidate can have a UG degree in any stream to be eligible for the courses at Light & Life Academy, Ooty. In rare cases, exceptions will be made at the discretion of management, for those who have not completed a UG degree, but have substantial work experience.
The students interested in seeking admission at the esteemed Institute can apply through the official admission portal. The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate (PG) degree courses in Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) is based on the Portfolio of 20 images submitted as part of the application, an online interview and a personal interview. Students must possess a basic knowledge of the operations of the camera. The curriculum starts from the basics of photography.
