Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur is a joint initiative between Tata Steel and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. The goal of the Institute is to provide excellence in healthcare as well as to train competent and caring physicians with excellent knowledge and skills. Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur or MTMC is a private institute affiliated to MAHE, Manipal and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

MTMC, Jamshedpur has a group of faculty members committed to the development of the students through an interactive approach. The faculty members are available for the students round the clock and are very approachable.
At the undergraduate level, MTMC offers a 5-year course in Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Apart from that, the Institute also offers allied medical courses. MTMC provides 4-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) courses in Cardiovascular Technology, Health Information Management, Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology and Renal Replacement Therapy & Dialysis Technology, 3-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course in Exercise and Sports Sciences and also a 4-year course in Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom.)

Admission Procedure

Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur’s admissions are conducted through the online application. To apply for their undergraduate degrees, candidates must apply through the online application portal, fill up the form and submit the requisite documents.

After getting selected for admission, the candidate has to attend online counselling and report to the institution. While the admission criteria and eligibility is different for the different B.Sc courses, all students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. For the M.B.B.S course, a student has to qualify for the NEET UG exam and do the choice filling.

After the counselling process is done the student will get a chance for admission. Manipal Tata Medical College, Jamshedpur also offers a range of scholarships and financial aid opportunities for meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
