University of Mysore, Mysuru (UOM Mysuru) was established in 1916. It is the first university to have been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC] in 2000 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission. UOM Mysuru bears 63 PG Departments, offering 76 postgraduate programs to its constituent affiliated colleges. The postgraduate courses that are offered at UOM Mysuru are Master of Social Work [M.S.W], Master of Music [M. Music], Master of Dance [M. Dance], Master Of Science [M.Sc.], Master Of Technology [M. Tech], Master Of Business Administration [MBA], etc, with dynamic options of specialisations. Most of the postgraduate departments are of international repute and are known for excellence in research. Research projects worth crores of rupees have been sanctioned to various university departments by national and international institutions and funding agencies.

UOM Mysuru sprawled over large acres of land in an evergreen atmosphere, which spreads across three different buildings. It exerts all kinds of state-of-the-art infrastructure through its astounding Wi-Fi-enabled campus.
