Viswakarma Institute of Technology, Pune (VIT Pune) is an autonomous institute affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University established in 1983 and run by Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust. VIT Pune was established with the objective to enhance quality technology and industry efficacy among young minds and has undoubtedly achieved the same. Admission Procedure
The undergraduate B.Tech and postgraduate M.Tech intake with different branches and specialisations respectively at Viswakarma Institute of Technology, Pune is governed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Mumbai. To pursue B.Tech and M.Tech courses the candidates have to qualify for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MCH CET) and the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), respectively. To pursue Ph.D. courses the postgraduate applicants have to qualify for the Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) to get enrolled as a doctoral researcher at VIT Pune.
