If chasing storms is your kind of thing, then Twisters is a must watch for you. Inspired by the 1996 film Twister that starred Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, the 2024 Twisters, which the production house is calling ‘a new chapter’ and not a reboot or a remake, promises to be an adventure-filled ride, as Daisy Edgar-Jones’ Kate Cooper teams up with Tornado Wrangler Tyler Owens, essayed by Glen Powell, to destroy a once-in-a-generation tornado wrecking havoc on Oklahoma. Having dropped the first trailer two months back, an extended trailer was released recently by Universal in the build up to the film’s July 19 global premiere. Check out Twisters trailer 2 and get ready for a roller-coaster ride as Kate and Tyler chase twin tornadoes out to destroy them all. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the story is written by Micheal Crichton, Anne-Marie Martin and Top Gun Maverick director Joseph Kosinski.
