Now, our Christmas won’t just jingle bells, it will simmer pots

Video creator Catherine Benson shows us how she brings in the holiday spirit, with a new recipe

Certainly, Christmas trees, music, and decorations set the festive mood for Christmas, but many content creators are opting for Christmas simmer pots to infuse that seasonal aroma reminiscent of a bakery carnival. Instagram video creator Catherine Benson shared her recipe, saying, “I may not have my tree up yet, but that doesn’t mean it can’t smell like it!!”

Catherine Benson begins with a simmer pot placed over a flame, filled with water. The magic unfolds as she adds a blend of festive ingredients such as oranges, apples, cranberries, and an array of spices, including star anise and cinnamon. As she allows the delightful mixture to simmer, her kitchen becomes a fragrant haven. You should try it too at home and leave the guests wondering about the tempting scents.
