It’s 50-not-out for hit pair Prosenjit and Rituparna Sengupta

Prosenjit and Rituparna Sengupta have been a hit pair since 1994 when the duo starred in Nag Panchami, directed by Bijoy Bhaskar. The two veteran actors of Tollywood have acted in several hit films like Abujh Mon, Moner Manush, Baba Keno Chakar, Sudhu Ekbar Bolo, and Sasurbari Zindabad  to name a few. The duo reunited for Praktan after a hiatus of 14-years in 2016. Their last film together before Praktan was Streer Maryada by Swapan Saha in 2002.  

The two have paired up again, and this time for their 50th film together. Titled Ajogya, the film is directed by Kaushik Ganguly, who was also the director of Prosenjit and Rituparna starrer Dristikone that released in 2018. Prosenjit Weds Rituparna was the last film in which the hit pair was seen together. 

Ajogya, made under the banner of Surinder Films, releases on June 7. Are you excited?
