A video of cricketers Irfan Pathan and Sunil Gavaskar matching steps to Rashmika Mandanna’s performance on the Naatu Naatu song at the opening ceremony of IPL 2023 has gone viral, with the actress praising Gavaskar’s hook-steps.
“Who did it better? We @gavaskarsunilofficial or @rashmika_mandanna,” Irfan wrote alongside the video he shared on Instagram on Monday.
Rashmika, whose electrifying performance left the cricket fans in awe at the Ahmedabad stadium, commented, “Definitely @gavaskarsunilofficial sir!! 🔥🔥.”
The 26-year old was one of the three celebrities who performed at the opening ceremony of IPL. The Varisu actress danced to Srivalli, Saami Saami and the Oscar-winning Naatu Naatu songs. Arijit Singh and Tamannaah Bhatia took to the stage before Rashmika’s performance.
The Goodbye actress has a busy year ahead with several films lined up for release. Rashmika will be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor and in Pushpa: The Rule.
