Hundreds of CPM supporters led by Md Salim, Sujan Chakraborty and Kanti Ganguly marched from Jadavpur to Ramgarh in south Calcutta to condemn the attack on Bengali-speaking people, mostly migrant workers belonging to the minority community, in several BJP-ruled states of the country.  Chakraborty called it an RSS-BJP ploy to tag Bengali-speaking people as Bangladeshis and harass them.  He said the CPM would fight any attempt to harass Bengali-speaking people.   Picture by Bishwarup Dutta
