New bride Kiara Advani pulled off the perfect wedding look on her big day in a pink Manish Malhotra outfit and sparkling jewellery crafted with hand-cut diamond pieces and Zambian emeralds.
The actress tied the knot with her Shershaah co-star Sidharth Malhotra in a grand ceremony at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer on Tuesday in the presence of close friends and family.
Kiara donned a shimmery pink ombre lehenga laced with intricate architecture design. For the jewellery, Kiara debuted Manish’s upcoming jewellery collection called Bespoke Diamond Jewellery. The set pieces consisted of hand-cut diamond pieces along with a Zambian emerald set that stood out with the pink outfit.
Celebrity saree draper Dolly Jain was the woman behind Kiara’s resplendent look. The actress also wore matching pink bangles and kaliras by Mrinalini Chandra. The kalira-maker had been the one behind countless other celebrity brides including Sonam Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Athiya Shetty and Richa Chadha. Customised for the couple, the two-toned kalira had an array of designs, including stars, moon, their initials, beloved pets, travel destination and butterflies, that are close to Sidharth and Kiara’s hearts.
Like other Bollywood brides such as Alia Bhatt, Kiara too kept her wedding look all natural. Makeup artist Lekha Gupta, who worked with Kiara previously on numerous films and shoots, kept the makeup look dewy and subtle. Soft pink lips, blended brown eyeshadow and a natural base completed Kiara’s makeup look for the wedding.
Celebrity hair artist Amit Thakur, who was also behind Nayanthara’s wedding look, kept Kiara’s hair in a sleek low bun.
The wedding was covered by House On The Clouds, a wedding filmmaking company, which was behind Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding as well as Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding this year. Keeping things on the down-low was a huge task ahead perfected by Entertainment event planners Motwane Entertainment & Weddings — it also planned Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s grand wedding in 2018. ALTAIR by Janki Desai handled the pink-and gold-themed affair at the wedding venue.
