Actress Madhuri Dixit swayed to the 1993 Khal Nayak song Choli Ke Peeche with her husband Dr Shriram Nene at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in Mumbai on Friday, show viral videos on social media.
The 57-year-old actress showcased her signature moves from the dance sequence of the film. Her husband Shriram stood behind her and shook a leg as well. Ananya Panday, Suhana Khan and Raashii Khanna were also seen with Madhuri in the video.
Fans flooded the comments section with their love and excitement. “Still so beautiful Madhuri,” one of them wrote. “Omgggggggggggg our most iconic dancing queen,” another fan commented.
Madhuri looked stunning in a pastel pink lehenga at the wedding. Shriram, on the other hand, sported a cream sherwani with golden motifs.
The event was held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai on Friday. It was attended by numerous celebrities from Bollywood like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput and the Bachchan family.
From Hollywood, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Nick Jonas and Rema were in attendance.
Radhika and Anant’s wedding will be followed by a shubh aashirwad ceremony on July 13 and a reception on July 14. Another reception party will be held on July 15 in Mumbai.
