Naatu Naatu singer Kaala Bhairava has apologised for not mentioning RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in a thank-you post he shared earlier on Twitter following online trolling and jibes from the actors' fans.

“I have no doubt Tarak anna (Jr NTR) and Charan anna (Ram Charan) are the reason for the success of naatu naatu and RRR itself. I was ONLY talking about who all helped me get my opportunity for the academy stage performance. Nothing else. I can see that it was conveyed wrongly and for that, I sincerely apologise for my choice of words,” Bhairava, who performed the Naatu Naatu song on the Oscars stage earlier this week, tweeted.

On March 16, the singer shared two notes on Twitter expressing gratitude for those who helped him get the opportunity to sing at Oscars this year.

In the note, he thanked RRR director S.S. Rajamouli, choreographer Prem Rakshith, and others who were involved in the live performance at the 95th Academy Awards. However, Bhairava giving a miss to Ram Charan and Jr NTR in his thank-you tweet did not sit well with the two actors’ fans on the microblogging site.

Soon his tweet was filled with responses from fans pointing out his failure in mentioning the two lead actors of the film in his note. “So basically NTR and Charan didn’t add any value according to you?,” one of them wrote.

His apology tweet was, however, welcomed by fans. “No need to justify! you were great on the stage and i enjoyed your moves at the end! may you always have success and support like this forever,” one of his fans wrote in reply to his tweet.

Bhairava, along with Rahul Sipligunj, sang the Oscar-winning song Naatu Naatu, composed by M.M. Keeravani and written by Chadrabose.
