Netflix dropped a couple of first-look posters of its romantic thriller Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba featuring Taapse Pannu, Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal on Wednesday.
The first poster features the trio with Sunny Kaushal standing in the rain. He looks at Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu, who have taken shelter under an umbrella to save themselves from the downpour. Sunny is seen holding a rose bouquet in one hand and Taapsee’s hand in the other, hinting at an affair.
“Khoon ko mitaye ye baarish, yahi hain iss kaatilana ishq ki guzaarish. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, coming on 9 August, only on Netflix,” the streamer wrote in the caption.
The second poster features a change in the positions of the actors. Here Sunny Kaushal is holding the umbrella and the bouquet with Taapsee Pannu beside him, while Vikrant Massey keeps a wary eye on the two. “Khoon, junoon, aur ek khatarnaak monsoon, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, coming on 9 August, only on Netflix,” Netflix captioned it.
A sequel to 2021’s Haseen Dillrubba, the thriller features Jimmy Shergill as a police officer. Backed by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films, the screenplay is written by Kanika Dhillon, who also penned the screenplay for the original movie.
Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba will see Taapsee and Vikrant reprising their roles as Rani Kashyap and Rishabh Saxena, respectively. It will be available to stream on Netflix from August 9.
