Ramabanam
The official trailer of the Telugu-language action film Ramabanam, set in Kolkata, was released by Sony Music South on Monday. Directed by Sriwass, the film stars Gopichand, Jagapathi Babu, Kushboo Sundar, Dimple Hayathi and Tarun Raj Arora.
The two-minute-14-second-long trailer shows a rowdy man Gopichand falling in love with a Kolkata-based vlogger. The man is also the brother of an honest politician, who is waging a war against a corrupt industrialist. The clip is filled with highly stylised action sequences.
Ramabanam will hit the cinemas on May 5.
Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo
Disney+Hotstar on Monday unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming Hindi-language series Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo. Created and directed by Homi Adajania, the series stars Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar, Deepak Dobriyal and Monica Dogra.
The one-minute-36-second-long trailer shows Dimple Kapadia as a drug lord and introduces us to her cartel. Deepak Dobial plays the main antagonist on the show.
Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from May 5.
Shooting Stars
Peacock on Tuesday released the official teaser of its upcoming direct-to-digital film Shooting Stars. Based on the book by LeBron James and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Buzz Bissinger, the movie is helmed by Chris Robinson.
The one-minute-39-second-long teaser tells the inspiring origin story of a basketball superhero, revealing how LeBron James and his childhood friends become the No. 1 high school team in the country, launching James’s legendary NBA career.
Shooting Stars will be streaming on Peacock from June 2.
The Other Two Season 3
HBO Max on Monday late night dropped the official trailer for the third season of its comedy series The Other Two. Created by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, the show stars Heléne Yorke, Drew Tarver, Case Walker, Ken Marino and Molly Shannon.
The two-minute-21-second-long trailer chronicles the story of Chase Dreams (Case Walker), who is now a full adult and her talk show host mother (Molly Shannon). The video also shows how Brooke (Heléne Yorke) and Cary (Drew Tarver) are finally standing on their own and embracing the world. Brook wants to become the first openly gay man to win an Oscar.
The Other Two Season 3 will premiere on Max on May 4.
