Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon’s upcoming romantic drama Ghudchadi is set to release on JioCinema on August 9, the streamer announced on Tuesday, dropping a first-look poster of the film.
The retro-themed poster shows Sanjay and Raveena sharing a romantic moment, bringing back their on-screen chemistry that crackled in a series of films like Jeena Marna Tere Sang and Zamane Se Kya Darna through the heady 1990s. Parth Samthaan and Khushalii Kumar also appear in the first-look poster as a young couple. “Love stories of two generations,” reads the tagline.
“Double the pyaar = Double the confusion! Watch Ghudchadi, streaming 9 August onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium,” JioCinema wrote on Instagram alongside the poster.
Also starring Aruna Irani and Achint Kaur, Ghudchadi is set to explore the nuances and complexities of love and romance across generations. The film went on floors back in 2022.
Directed by Binnoy K Gandhi, Ghudchadi is produced by Binnoy, Nidhi Dutta, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Keep Dreaming Pictures and T-Series. It is adapted from a screenplay by Deepak Kapur Bhardwaj and Binnoy.
While Raveena last starred in Vivek Budakoti’s Patna Shuklla, Sanjay’s last big-screen appearance was in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s 2023 film Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay.
