A handful of Tollywood celebrities, including Rukmini Mitra and Nussrat Jahan, attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s lavish wedding, alongside the who’s who of Bollywood, at Mumbai’s Jio Convention Centre on July 12. Here’s a look.
Saswata Chatterjee attended the wedding in traditional Bengali attire, sporting a white dhoti and angrakha kurta set designed by Kolkata-based Abhisek Roy’s label Bohurupi Santiniketan.
Raima Sen complemented her sea green sari with kohled eyes, heavy jewellery and ‘gajra’ in her hair. Her sister, Riya, wore a black lehenga with mirror work to the party.
Yash Daasguptaa looked dapper in a black asymmetric deep-neck kurta, which he paired with fitted pants and a jacket with floral embroidery.
Nussrat Jahan, wife of Yash, colour coordinated with her husband in a golden lehenga. The sequin work on her choli, the flow of her skirt and her kundan jewellery went perfectly well with the brown tone of makeup.
Rukmini, who penned a note for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, grabbed eyeballs in a one-shoulder golden outfit adorned with leaf motifs. Her diamond ring, golden bag and sleek bun made the look a chic affair.
