Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the stars of the upcoming Raj & DK-directed Indian version of Citadel, huddled up at a coffee shop in London ahead of the world premiere of the Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden-starrer Prime Video series.

Both Varun and Samantha shared the photos on their Instagram on Tuesday. In the photos, we can also see The Family Man creators Raj & DK accompany the two stars at the coffee shop. Samantha had previously worked with the writers on the second season of the Manoj Bajpayee-headlined spy-action thriller The Family Man in which she played the role of the combat-trained terrorist Raji.

Commenting on Varun’s post, actor Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Need a bigger table for the big budget bonanza.”

The Citadel co-stars twinned in black while walking the red carpet for the world premiere of the series as well. Varun opted for a puffer jacket and trouser look, while Samantha stunned in a bodycon skirt and top co-ord paired with a Bvlagri serpent necklace.

Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci and the Russo Brothers were also present at the premiere of the Prime Video web series that sees Priyanka and Madden play the role of elite spies.

The first two episodes of the six-episode American series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28 in India. The following four episodes will be released every week on Friday. The premiere date of the Indian version of Citadel is yet to be announced. The makers have, however, revealed that Priyanka will be joining the Indian version to share screen space with Varun and Samantha.

The Russo Brothers directorial will be the first of several other Citadel shows, to be made in different parts of the world with local stars.
