New Delhi, June 28: One of the suspects in the murder of Noida schoolgirl Aarushi Talwar and servant Hemraj has confessed to destroying her mobile, the CBI told the Ghaziabad special court today.

Rajkumar, servant of the Durranis — friends and partners of Aarushi’s dentist parents — has also confirmed he knows where the khukri (dagger) used in the murders was disposed of, the sleuths claimed.

The CBI today got 14 days’ custody of Rajkumar, whom it arrested yesterday on the basis of a bloodstained T-shirt found in his room on June 13.

Aarushi’s father Rajesh, a dentist, and his compounder Krishna had been arrested earlier. The CBI believes Rajkumar played a central role in the murders but haven’t ruled out the involvement of Aarushi’s parents and Krishna.

Nupur Talwar has undergone a lie lest. Praful and Anita Durrani have been questioned several times. CBI officials told reporters the murders were pre-planned and the plotters had made sure that all the evidence was destroyed.
