Avo Cornetto from Jalsa

Modern Indian diner Jalsa has been creating waves with its authentic take on familiar recipes. The Avo Cornetto could be explained as Jalsa’s rendition of salsa since it includes avocados, onions, tomato, corn and fresh coriander leaves. These fresh ingredients are tossed and seasoned together before being put into a unique fenugreek cone. This cone is baked for the perfect crunch, filled with the salad, and topped with sour cream and a drizzle of truffle oil.
“The Modern Indian food at Jalsa is not about gimmicks. It is about innovating with Indian ingredients and applying them to unconventional dishes, or using global ingredients with local cuisine and creating a product that is exciting to an Indian palate. We have used avant-garde techniques to create textures that are uncommon and unexpected,” shares Jalsa’s Harsh Vardhan Sonthalia.
