London: Mercedes Boss Toto Wolff insisted on Tuesday that Valtteri Bottas has the "whole package" to beat Lewis Hamilton in the next F1 season. Bottas was way off the pace in the Drivers' Championship this year, managing three race wins in his debut season at Mercedes.
Hamilton dominated the campaign with 10 Grand Prix victories on his way to the title. Bottas still has two years on his Mercedes contract and Wolff has denied they are looking to replace him.
The team boss told Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat the 28-year-old was capable of challenging Hamilton. "Valtteri needs to understand his strength of those weekends when he won. He has it all. He just has to get the whole package together." Agencies
